About me:
For as long as I can remember I wanted to become an inventor. By age 14 I cracked computer programming and started developing my own electronic devices. Over the years I spent hundreds of hours in my father’s workshop where I mastered all kinds of engineering projects. After completing the Bachelors Degree at Technical University of Berlin while also working as a research student at the Fraunhofer Institute I went on to complete a Masters in Development and Construction at Technical University of Munich and started my career at the Institute of Machine Elements as a research associate. Daniel Wiegand, Matthias Meiner, Patrick Nathen and I founded Lilium in 2015. As a founder I worked in many roles, including my most recent one – Chief Structures Engineer. Being part of this amazing and exciting journey – to bring such a fantastic aircraft on the market which will enable us to change the reality of how we travel – definitely fulfills my dream of being an inventor!
